I'm just the owner(?) former owner(?) completely left in the lurch by a handful of people who decided they had the right to steal out from under me, the only living, the only business, the only health insurance I had to my name. The strange thing is, this wasn't really about money. Very little money was involved , exchanged and even made at the studio but it made enough to survive.It was all I had. The thing is they did it with a smile on their faces...illegally, with a hired gunslinging coppette named Officer Kay Roman , who would later write a fantastical police report on the matter by mentioning I was "Known to be dangerous but not believed to have weapons on me at that time." Oh that's right whole thing captured by youtubing iPhone...yet no one calls to apologize or explain how they live with themselves. The very nature of slander and libel...from a police station... so what do I have to do to brng the attention to this matter it desrves? Make terrorist threats? Really walk that fine line between the educated and the moronic who would all but destroy a good woman's life, just to go on keeping believing they are right when they are so wrong the create poverty unemployment and murder by their vile very being.

My name is Raina. Cheryl shot these photos of me one afternoon in 2010 in front of my yoga studio. I call it "mine" in the legal sense recognized by local and state paperwork on the subject, but I was always grateful and I never forgot my place as a 3rd or 4th owner of an established business there for 8-10 years prior. I was so grateful to be there. I was so broke when I first got there I slept in the one room studio and took showers at friends twice a day for a little more than a month until I had paid most of what I owed the people who convinced me to buy the place. I was so happy there for months. People treated me so amazingly well. Im still haunted by how much I still love and miss many of them. It was literally like an ax came down simply because that's how Donna Trantham likes to show off her childish temper. On November 5th she had a tantrum over me asking her if I could owe her for a week of salads from the deli she owned while I was trying to loose weight eat rigt etc....one day she was my friend, then not, then friends, te not...u know the type? Anyway....On Nov 30th 2010 my heart was ripped out of my chest as they stole out from under me my yoga studio. I was so tired of the politics I had suggested the month prior we just sell it to someone else. I didnt need their fighting. But they wanted to cut me out of any sale to another party-the amazing thing is the local police stood behind them while they did it-apparently still do to this day....I have yet to hear an apology or even an explanation. People who have to resort to make things up no doubt to fake saving face.

On July 4th 2010 I invited Beatrice Mulzer to teach here for her first time, after graduating from our very challenging and very expensive Bikram Yoga teacher training the month before. Because this studio is tough to grow financially for a number of reasons, I asked her if she might be interested in co-owning with me. She said she had plans to open her own studio in Alabama but knew someone else who might be interested and introduced me to Benny Boyle a month later. I trusted him enough to give him the keys to the business (and home) for a few weeks. I came back up north to try to bolster studio income by teaching at the Bikram Norwalk studio for a few weeks while Benny ran Titusville. (Oh ya Rachel? Rebecca? What was that witches name Andrew? We'll address that too real soon) Anyway....Selling "hot yoga" in Florida during August was tough to say the least. A great friend of mine (so I thought) named Susan W offered to keep an eye on Benny and oversee things/keep me posted....long story short, Donna Trantham had been trying to see me under by trying to drive both new and veteran students away. She'd been trying to drive me out of there after an embarrassing text messaging prank with her boyfriend months prior-so she took this opportunity to convince Benny and Beatrice to turn on me. Even though I warned Benny that Donna and I were not on good terms, I told him I wanted the studio to have a policy of tolerance when it came to our practice Donna was welcome to practice. As long as no one interrupted anyone was welcome to take class. I didn't realize what she was up to i.e. telling students that I was not coming back. By November Donna saw I wasn't going anywhere and so decided to illegally have my locks changed and even though I had local and state documentation as rightful owner, a friend of hers at Tville police stood by while she one day, out of the blue, decided to change the locks on me. I have 3 years to sue all involved before the statute of limitations runs out. Every lawyer I spoke with told me I do have a case, but because so little money is involved none are interested in taking it. But I still have 2 years...let's see what we can do with the internet? Let's tell the story loud enough, and long enough for me to find justice in some other form perhaps? (Dear Benton Family: Not a day goes by where I don't feel guilty to have let you down). Everytime I hear a name, or a certain song, or think about MY studio my stomach flutters and I feel so much sadness and miss it down there.....How were these hateful people able to not only drive me out of my own place but destroy me financially and get away with it?

I was lucky enough to have been offered a hardship scholarship to study with Bikram in Honolulu in 2007 for 2.5 months. The rest of the cost of my training was paid for by family and friends helping out. I was 46 years old at the time and this investment was really just about my last chance at pulling my life together financially. It was a critical time for me. On top of that I'd just lost 54 pounds in a matter of months in 2006 because I was that devoted to a regular yoga practice. But a woman named Jane Kartsch decided she was going to ruin any chance I had. To this day I don't know exactly why she made the police report but I put it on the internet for all to behold-who wonders where unemployment comes from? Poverty? In November 2009 I was invited to come down to manage this studio. A few days later founder Donna Trathan and the current owner at that time "Moo" suggested Ithat for $5000 I could just own it. I told them I would love to but didn't have any money. "Moo", who also owns a few Thai restaurants and another Bikram Yoga studio in Orlando, told me she would allow me to make payments for the place for 6 months. I jumped at the opportunity and drove down there within a couple of weeks I was thrilled and ready to go. Frankly it was all I had and I was determined to make the best of what seemed like one last shot in my old age to have a career I loved and believed in...filed the registration with the state and City Hall....and wrote a check every month for the rent the entire year...the thing is I was being driven out so severly I TOLD them I would go! But Donna wanted me out of there by December to make the winter money for herself and Beatrice and Benny to join forces with her....Donna is now officially stopped from screwing over every teacher who passes thru there that she decides she doesn't like. Thanks to AL Gore's internet here. IM no writer and I aint looking to impress or make friends. Im just drawing out the biggest fy I can conjure up -an historical moment where Roman WILL one day make a public apology for her slanderous and (in fact?) felonious false reporting...and maybe my money back...unless of course the studio is still mine? Since I never willfully gave it up. I'll square away all the loose ends with the monies for damages caused by Donna, Moo and Titusville PD? I would love to be there right now-doing what I was doing...teaching between 14-18 classes per week virtually ALONE!!! What yoga reveals about the neurotic killers of the world is staggering-once Sue W spent like my entire practice banging on the door for an old coat she couldn't wait an hour for...type A country club show off types....

But after driving down from NY and meeting in person for the first time over dinner Moo asked me for the $5000 up front. She explained that she meant I could pay a "second" $5000 6 mos later, but needed another $5000 as a deposit. It was as if she was trying to trap me now when I think about it, but I literally had NOTHING and so badly wanted to just do the yoga everyday ...I was flat broke so needed to make money, so I didnt walk aay. It appears that Donna felt bad about the deception and that's why she offered to give me money to seal some kind of a deal with Moo. I told Donna I wasn't comfortable borrowing so much money from her, so she suggested (half) $2500 and I agreed to that. Long story short by April I had almost entirely paid off Donna and Moo as I did very well financially in the first few months of running studio. When we met together that second time in April at one of the restaurants Moo owns in Orlando (she also owns Bikram Yoga in Orlando) Moo "generously" offered to forgive what was left on the debt if I simply took responsibility for another $1300 debt she owed to Donna. In retrospect I realize none of this made sense, but I was just trying to go along with their wishes so I could focus on growing the business and make Bikram Yoga proud.

Dear Chief Bolinger, In Central and South America the police are known to be corrupt. Known to take the people and their business hostage all the time. Is that what is happening to your force? Renegade women cops playing judge and jury on scene without a stitch of paperwork? Throwing a business owner out on the street on an informal whim? This even after showing her my paperwork? After speaking on the phone with the landlord who told her who I was? How is that different than Mexico?
I want Donna Trantham formally charged (at least) with filing a false police report, and officer K. Roman disciplined, if not outright fired (what does the Sheriff's dept. have to say about what she did? And about her contradictions (outright lies) being caught on my camera phone (that she obviously wasn't expecting)?

See ISP documented email below from same woman who claimed I was some stranger who walked in off the street and " just took the keys" as Roman's report tries to suggest (along with the shamelessly malicious and deliberate misuse of words, with statements like "known to be violent" and " not believed to have weapons at this time"). I was in the middle of negotiating getting SOME of my money back from this local shell game, when your Officer Princess decided to let them screw me out of everything. I had plans to move on in the next few months as Donna had been trying to drive me out of business for the previous eight. Is it part of police protocol to get involved with cut throat yoga teachers and their ceremonial figurehead political backstabbing? I pleaded with Roman to be reasonable as she was putting me out on the street by doing this. Even hear me tell her al of this in one of the videos. So the question is why? Did someone pay her to do this? Is Titusville on the verge of turning into Guatemala City?

I was gone/worked  830-5 yesterday, had my kids last night and taught 9am class this morning...(I had 12 people in class!). I'm sorry I'm late in getting back to you! Rent for studio is $583 and is paid month to month.  If you- carefully- ask Ryan (landlord) to keep rent as is $ and he will. Times are tough right now and he knows that.
 
Mayfair Way is in a bad drug area ...my restaurant will not deliver there. Keep looking and keep asking. I'll tell you what I know. There are vacancies in the complex where I live if that interests you. Out of the dozen places I considered renting this was the best, my #1 choice....I've been here a year and I love it! However there are vacant homes for rent here with yards for your dog to run around :-).  
 
There has been a worried kinda energy in the sudio lately....the students have been scared and afraid that were gonna close. I've been having to calm people down and reassure them all is good, etc.....(I'll explain later). After speeking to Maria (Moo's partner) last night, it was made clear that Moo definately wants to sell YOU the studio and we already know that you definately want to buy it. This is really happening for you! :-) I made the announcement after class today. I mentioned that you were taking over the studio within a month or so.
